Written Test:

Personal Interview:
As you clear the written examination for Military Nursing Service, you get a call for an interview that takes you to the next step of selection. The interviews are staged in Delhi during the month of September*. The number of selected candidates who are going to appear for the interview is generally three times the total vacancies.The candidates are lined for the interview on the basis of their merit.
Mostly the questions asked in the interview comprise questions related to personal and family information, strength and weaknesses, aim in life, and the motivation behind joining MNS. On rare occasions, the questions can get a bit tricky and grilling when the candidate’s attitude and ability to serve the profession is being interrogated.
Medical Examination:
On clearing the interview for Military Nursing Services, you need to appear for the medical examination. The candidates are tested for their physical capacity and checked if they are medically fit based on various health parameters. The tests are conducted under the supervision of a team of medical professionals deputed in the military hospitals operated by Indian Armed Forces. The whole process of medical examination would be conducted as per the laid procedural guidelines, the pattern of marking, and scheme of evaluation. Once the process is over, the result is declared by the president of the Medical Board stating the candidate ‘Fit’ or ‘Unfit’.
Both of these examinations take a combined time of 2-5 working days to process and candidates are updated about the proceedings and the status that followsas per the progress.
